Marelle est un recueil de poèmes cliniques. Psychologue clinicienne et psychanalyste, Julia Peker exerce dans un Centre Médico-Psychologique où elle reçoit enfants et adolescents. Chacun des poèmes de ce recueil reprend une consultation menée avec un enfant. Il ne s’agit pas de restituer un tableau clinique, mais de rendre hommage à la singularité de chaque rencontre. Dans sa lecture de Marelle, le poète Jean-Louis Giovannoni remarque que l’écriture de Julia Peker « travaille directement avec les parts invisibles de notre psychisme, non seulement celles qui nous fondent, mais aussi celles avec lesquelles nous envisageons le monde et notre rapport aux autres ». Marelle est un livre de poésie qui nous rappelle « qu’il faut d’abord réparer ce qui est blessé en profondeur ; bricoler s’il le faut du provisoire, bouger même si c’est de peu, et surtout tenir dans le temps… pour que le chant puisse un jour reprendre ».

Transplanté du foie d’un autre, il s’agit ici de rendre compte du chemin, long de plusieurs années, qui in fine a permis que je sois sauvé, faisant de moi un être partiellement double, et hautement redevable. Avec comme acmé la nuit où eut lieu la greffe, suivie, dans l’étroitesse d’un lit d’hôpital, d’un séjour de trois semaines au sein d’un service de haute expertise, propice à un exercice d’humilité, de grâce, d’humour aussi.

Indifférente aux démarcations de genres, la collection « Littérature » entend représenter une approche curieuse de la création littéraire contemporaine. Poésie, récits singuliers, journaux, carnets, correspondances… : sans autres guides que la surprise et l’émotion, elle s’ouvre à des formes inédites, entêtantes, qu’elle enrichit en les accompagnant d’œuvres originales.
